Bakersfield HS: Elijah Nacita comes to CSUB from Bakersfield HS as one of the most decorated prep wrestlers in recent years…was a three-time state placewinner with the Drillers, including a state title as a senior at 135 pounds…also placed second as a junior and seventh as a sophomore…defeated Chris Drouin of Chaparral HS 8-7 in the state final…was a part of the Drillers’ dominating 2004 team state title…had a 165-25 record as a prep wrestler with 65 pins…won the Southeast Yosemite League title all four years of high school and took the CIF Central Section title twice…named team MVP in 2006, Most Outstanding Wrestler in 2005 and Most Inspirational in 2004.
