2006: Ancona did not wrestle in an official match for CSUB in 2006.
2005: Ancona did not wrestle in an official match for CSUB in 2005.
Fremont HS: Ancona was a four–year
varsity wrestler for CSUB alumni Bobby Soto at Fremont
High School… placed second in the Santa Clara
Valley League and sixth in the Central Coast Sectional
as a junior, despite wrestling on a broken foot most
of the season… finshed first in the SCLV and third
in CCS as a senior, placing in the top 12 at the CIF
Championships.
Personal: Ancona has yet to declare
a major at CSUB…one of five Santa Clara County
high school seniors to be awarded REACH Youth Scholarships
which honored students who have overcome adversity to
excel in both academics and athletics.
