 On
the fifteenth day of February, 2005, shortly after starting
at right guard for the New England Patriots in the XXXIX
Super Bowl, Steve Neal and the California State University,
Bakersfield, Foundation established the "Stephen
Neal Wrestling Endowment Fund."
The fund will provide money to be used by the California
State University, Bakersfield Wrestling Program. Five
percent of the total value of the permanent principle
may be used by the Wrestling Program per year.
It is Stephen Neal's desire to eventually fund the
wrestling team's Scholarship Budget.
"Because Steve has achieved so much in his athletic
career, a World Champion in two different sports,"
stated Coach TJ Kerr, "it is particularly gratifying
that he will be helping future student-athletes at his
university. We enjoy being his favorite charity."
One may contribute to the Stephen Neal Wrestling Endowment
Fund by writing a check to the "Cal State-Bakersfield
Foundation" and mailing it to "CSUB Wrestling,
8000 Kroll Way #43, Bakersfield CA 93311-1125."
Your donation is tax deductible. A letter of confirmation
for your donation will be mailed to you immediately.
With donations up to $200, the donor will receive an
autographed photo of Stephen #61 Neal with an inscription
(please let us know what you would like Steve to write).
With a donation of $200, the donor will receive a Wilson
3 Panel Autograph Football.
With a donation of $300, the donor will receive a XXXIX
Super Bowl Football.
With a donation of $500 or more, Stephen Neal will
sign a Blue Authentic #61 Jersey.
