Assistant Technique Coach Brian Cobb

Brian Brian Cobb returns to the Cal State Bakersfield wrestling room for his fourth season as technique specialist with the team. Cobb was the lone senior on the 2004 squad which finished the season 14-1. He posted an impressive 35-12 record that year culminating in a second-place finish at the Pac–10 tourney. Cobb completed his degree in phyiscal education and kinesiology and is working on his masters and teaching credential in Mathematics at the University of Pheonix. He is also currently a professional mixed martial artist and holds the Gladiator Challenge lightweight world title. He is ranked in the top six in the world in the SHOOTO MMA rankings and #1 in the SHOOTO American rankings.
