SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Cal State Bakersfield dropped another
close dual Friday night with a 25-15 loss at Cal Poly
in a matchup that was closer than the score indicated.

Roadrunners with technical fall over Evan Barbre at
165 pounds to avenge the junior's two losses last Sunday.

Cal Poly won the next three matches for a 15-8 advantage.
First Yuri Kalika defeated Brandon Ceremello 11-5 at
184 to narrow the score to 8-2. Cal Poly took a 9-8
advantage when Matt Monteiro pinned Brandon Halsey in
the first period. Another first-period pin from Cody
Parker on Eric Parker made the score 15-8 midway through
the dual.
Cal Poly won three of the final five matches to seal
the win. Brandon Zoetewey won at 125 over Josh Obregon
by a 9-0 major decision to narrow the team score 15-12
